April glossybox.

My first ever glossy box arrived today, i was really super excited, bless me. When i opened the box, i was greeted with a box that looks like this:
This is the april edition glossy box & it is all about natural. The box is limited edition 100% biodegradeable & 'bursting with ethical goodies'. As soon as you open the box it has a sort of, earthy smell to it. Not as in compost, but you can smell that it's all good stuff rather than a perfume sort of smell. I think it's beautifully wrapped and has a canvas bow on it, cute!
Here is what i found when i first opened the box. So it has 3 full size products, 2 smaller samples & it's jam packed with cardboard shred, nice touch. Obviously i took no time in getting the products out to have a look & sniff.
So first up:
♥ Caudalie 'Vinosource SOS Thirst-Quenching Serum' - You really don't get a lot in this even though it looks like a big sample. When it came to trying it, i squeezed it and a fair amount came out, but it only really covered a small part of my arm. It does feel really moisturising, but to be honest, i wouldn't say it's anything special. It dries quick so you don't get that sticky feeling which is a plus. The glossy box card says 'This newly-launched ultra-concentrated serum is extremely natural and plant-based, ensuring your skin never lacks moisture.' - although this product is nice, and it is somewhat moisturising, i wouldn't ever pay the price tag of £29 for 30ml of it.

♥ Figs & Rouge 'Lip Balm' - Here is another full size product that we got. Now i love the packaging of this product, i think it's very old fashioned and very cute. The card says '100% pure, 100% natural & 100% organic multipurpose balm. Excellent for soothing & naturally hydrating dry lips & skin'. This is really hydrating on the lips, the only problem is, the smell. If you like a really strong scent of roses, then you will probably really like this product, but i think the smell is way too overpowering and i don't really like it. It also feels rather moisturising on the skin, but not compared to how it feels on the lips. It is 100% organic though, so if they do more flavours/scents, i would buy it because the full size of 8ml is £3.29 which i think is fairly reasonable to say that it is organic. And the packaging is pretty which is always a winner, it's just that smell.

♥ Ayuuri 'Natural body wash' - We got 200ml of this product, which is a full size product to me. This is the product that i am most happy about from this box. The card says 'The Ayuuri natural skincare range is based on fruit, plant and flower extracts that have long been used in India to enhance skins natural beauty.' Now i havent tried this product out, but i am very glad i got a coconut smell as i love that scent anyway. It says that it is enriched with Wild Indian Jasmine & Aloe Vera, so it sounds as though it is going to feel nice on my skin. Ayuuri Natural are also against animal testing, which is always a positive in my eyes. Overall i am happy with this product even if it doesn't turn out that great because i love the smell, but i will give a review once i have given it a good try out.

♥ Inika Cosmetics 'Certified Organic Eyeliner' - I do really like the packaging of this product, although i never really wear colour eyeliners. Mine came in number '08 Peacock Blue'. The colour is beautiful however, don't get me wrong, but it just isn't something i would wear.
In the bottom of the picture to the right is just one stroke, so its fairly pigmented, and above is it highly swatched. As you can see it has a nice frosty shimmer too it which is nice. The card says 'A rich and creamy consistency unparalleled in the world of natural liners.'
The price of the eyeliner is £11.75, which for an eyeliner i think is quite pricey, but it is organic so it's bound to be more expensive. This product isn't tested on animals and is also 100% vegan. I would possibly consider buying one if it was black because it's organic, but i wouldn't consider this to be anything special compared to other eyeliners that i have tried in the past.

And last but not least:
♥ Kai 'Perfume Oil' - The card says 'Our intoxicating signature perfume oil fragranced with kai's light, intoxicating blend of gardenia wrapped in white exotics.' I'm not going to lie, i really don't like this. The smell just really isn't for me. It does say 'kai is different for everyone'. To me, it just smells soapy. The scent is very strong in my opinion so if you do like the smell, it would be good for you. for the full size of £41 for 3.60ml, i really don't think it's worth such a hefty price tag, but that's just me!

So that was my first ever glossybox post, and i quite enjoyed it & look forward to doing the same with future glossy boxes, hope you like it :) & if you haven't already, please check out my last blog post. & also, if you have it, please follow me on twitter, i only have 12 followers bless me :)

Love Louisa
